Haha.
Ok sounds cool.
So its a on going competition till era restarts ?
Excluding that, who would be in charge of the points, it would be hard for one person to calculate an on-going point system ?

I will be doing a majority of the point keeping, but as stated, alliances members and leaders should keep track of their own points as well. And also, as stated, the more volunteers i get, the easier my burden becomes, but worst case senario, i will be willing to do all the calculating myself if necessary
And to answer your question about the alliances outside of the contest attacking contest members, it is perfectly fine. The contest alliances will be compensated for it by the battles they had to deal with, and i'm sure they probably didn't lose every battle. Most cases are that the alliance will win a few at the very least. And the big battles they have against the non-contest related alliances will give them points for the units killed as well. And, once the contest alliance is wiped out, the alliance gets a 250 tick prtection time in which no points can be gotten from attacking them, HOWEVER, they can still get points while in this protection. This prevents contest alliances from farming, and it allows the downed contest alliance to continue their efforts in winning. And if a contest alliance tries to make a "helper alliance" outside the contest to farm them, then they are simply giving the downed alliance more points. So it should round off to stay fair. Even an alliance which loses the round itself, can still win the contest (and therefore the contest's token prize). It all depends on the efforts of the members and their activeness. This also gives some incentive for alliances to stay on the world after they've been taken out. Way too many leave the world once they are defeated, leaving less alliances to take out the top dogs.

Ok, but how would you or those calculating the points know that those that sends you an update of their current points will be telling the truth ?
Would you require printscreens from them or some sort, but even though printscreens can be edited.

did you even read any of my suggestion? sorry to say such, but i very clearly (and more than just a few times) stated screenshots will be necessary. Forging them will be extremely hard, as the enemy alliance will also be posting it, for even losing gets them points. It's a great way to do checks and balances. As for outside battles which are not with alliances in the contest, that could technically be forged, but i'll be keeping a close eye on those type of BR's to make sure nothing fishy is going on.

double post bump again!
also, please! everyone remember to spread the word about this topic. People do not have to read all the posts pertaining to this idea, just the main one and then just sign their name up so i know they are willing to do the idea. We do not have enough people right now for the contest (unless all those signed up are gonna lead a full alliance). So please, mass message your alliances this topic and your allies. Without the support of players, we cannot get this thing going!

more than we have right now at least. You dn't have to get people to sign here, but i need to know we have enough interest. Otherwise, i don't want to donate money for a 8 person contest. This idea was to promote, not just for a select few.
I've gotten maybe the feedback from about 10-15 people now, but i want sme more. We need players for the contest, not just leaders. So if we want, we can split it up so we get leaders going for a sign up (at least 4) and once we get that, we can depend on them to find their own teams and inform them of the contest.
