How about adding in a feature for the marker system that gives the marker a duration (optional) So you set the marker to last for X ticks, and after that last tick it goes away. Simple and convienent.

yes from me, it would be better to automatically delete some markers. Like I ordered the alliance to attack at tick X, then at tick X or X+1~3 it should be deleted.
