Simple, something like if you mouseover the little spy icon it'll give you the name of the owner. This is all you can see, and when you mouseover the spy icon it gives you nothing:

yes for alliance's spies.
I don't think "the numbers" would go and suggest to be able to see planted spies of other alliances.
btw duo, I love this disastrous idea.

Um, guys, am i missing something or is this not active anymore? http://clip2net.com/s/1eORABut i would have voted no anyway cause this could be a slap in the face for weaker players that sometimes wanna go in do some bad stuff and get out without anyone actually knowing.

I'm sorry but I think there's been some misunderstanding here. Like all other spy functions/operations, this can only be viewed by those in your alliance
