Hello Dawner's
We did a small update to fight outpost farming. The amount of outposts you are able to build is now related to your power.
10 power = 6 outposts max 20 power = 9 outposts max 30 power = 12 outposts max 40 power = 15 outposts max 50+ power = no limits
This is just for OP's you build. Of course you can capture Op's as usual. Cheers

I have some questions though
Scenerio 1: I'm at 43 power (which can make 15 OPs max), but I captured 10 OPs and built 0 OP, how much more OP can I make? 5 or 15?
Scenerio 2: I built 5 OPs, but then they are taken... so basically they're lost and my "built OP counter" dropped to 0?
Scenerio 3: same as 2, but I took those 5 back, will those 5 counted as my "built OPs"?

1. you can build 5 more 2. again with 43 power? When you hold 0 ops, you can build 15 3. when you hold 5 ops, you can build 10 more.
So more easy : you could capture 1000 Ops with a power lower than 50. But you won't be able to build more. Its not that this update would make it finally impossible to farm ops. It will help us to spot farming and prevent extreme farming cases.

This is already restricting my gameplay on a recently reset era I decided to play inactively in. I'm not just some noob who can't get enough power to build the amount of random OPs he wants to. I had a strategey before the era started, I was going to be a "team player" and be the guy who builds the nukes and camps early on so we can get an advantage on an early war, and then build up my army later.
Guess what, I can no longer play this strategy. It's something a lot of people do. Now they cannot do this.
Do you want to know the saddest part? This will do NOTHING to reduce OP farming. The farmers will still farm just as effectively as they did before the update. I must say, I disaprove of this very much. It doesn't solve anything.

I'm not a fan of this. At all. Such a quick way to restrict alliance growth at the start. And what happens when I have a large ammount of power (let's say 250), but I lose 220 power in a battle. (obviously a huge battle xD). say I have 200 ops at the time. Then what? If I need to build an OP for my team to move up, I can't? That makes no sense to me, at all.

An example for 50 score = 800 workers (32 power) + 180 infantry (18 power). Resources OPs etc are not even counted in. I don't think its realy in your interest to build more OPs when you lost your entire army. You might ask your team mate to build one to move
Its possible that we change back as soon as we see that it harms legit players more than it helps against op farming.
But seeing a new colony popping up and 'gift' 18 or more ops without even recruiting a single unit still harms legit players more ... Thats my opinion. Proof me wrong Quote: I had a strategey before the era started, I was going to be a "team player" and be the guy who builds the nukes and camps early on so we can get an advantage on an early war, and then build up my army later.
Guess what, I can no longer play this strategy. It's something a lot of people do. Now they cannot do this. Battle Dawn is a strategy game and so everyone has to find out a well working balance between outposts and upkeep. I don't think that the amount we did for now is to low. Even as 'teamplayer' 15+ ops in early ticks and with a very low power is a lot. The upkeep will kill you before you start to build up your army.
