I'm sorry that when I show my work compared to Lun's, mine is chosen and then popularized.

What about it isn't art?

What about Lun's is art?

You have yet to provide a single logical argument on why Lun's signature is actually any better than mine. You claim the poetry speaks to you. I see written down gibberish, that is so carelessly written that the author didn't bother to use spell check, or use a thesaurus in order to use words that better convey his message. I see a preset .gif animation that I learned how to do within 4 minutes of my animation class at school.

If your definition of art is: "Literature, drawings, or pictures that are created in the most simple format possible, with little to no thought process and no deeper meaning." Then you hit Lun's signature right on.

However, art is not defined that way.

My signature features a girl holding a flower. In the original picture, the colors are very washed out and the scene is bland. I popped out the original colors as well as added complimentary colors that blend well. I made the flower pop out better and made designs around it in order to make the scene more interesting. I gave the girl a cartoonish type look in order to make her stand out better. I messed up on the focal point, which was supposed to be the flower. ;/. Anyways, I brought out colors that make the girl look sad, as she originally did in the drawing, but by adding darker colors around her, the depressing look kinda seeps through a bit better. I think the deeper meaning has to do with the girl longing for her lover which is why she's holding a flower (which is a posie, symbolic flower of funerals).

Can you honestly describe anything in Lun's signature is as great of detail as I can describe my signature? I doubt Lun even understands his own signature. -.-

You guys are either very very convincing trolls, or are dead set in believing in a fantasy style thought of life.

Wake up, the sky is blue because the sky is blue. My signature is better because it is better.

my definition of art is something simple, and everyone can understand, which fit to the community.

I don't care if you go on other forums, gfx forums, art forums, and do a serious contest there. In here, it's a contest, open for everyone, and since I see there are little to none people who excel about picture manipulating, or has enough free time to make some.

This is why I always try to make the theme as easy to understand and everyone know about it. Not something like "anime" or "manga", which not everyone in this forum actually have ability to make.

Describing the forum, Describing a forumer, Promoting SotW, Girls, they are all the theme that everyone can do, no matter wat is their level in photoshop. The only exception is 4chan which was just a joke but Dan put it up before I could say anything.

Enough said, I already say this a lot on Skype chat, but if you still think this as a photoshop skill contest, and try to drive this game that way, fine to me. I'm not pro at photoshop so I won't participate in.

Have fun.

What's the point in a game that requires no skill or talent to win? Why participate in something that you have no skill or talent in?

I don't want to argue with u anymore ok? As I said, we don't have any skills or talents, so we don't want to participate in this game anymore. Good luck.

Why did you try participating in the first place then?
