A new thread should be made for this, where each player can only post once with their details. That way we'd know who is playing and it wouldn't all be a slap up job like it is so far

There's not enough details. All you say is, sure I'll sign up, but to what?

There's no deadline and now way of contacting the players who have said they'd sign up, telling them the tournament is going to start at this time...

Something like:

SuperMechs tournament
Deadline: 23rd december 2099!!

To enter please fill in these details


Could all those who post only post once so we don't lose all the entries in the chat please.

Of course that's only an example but it would make things a lot smoother. Also with something like this, we could ask the admins to add something in the news section linking them to the thread, so players who aren't active on the forums still have the chance to take part.

Then we can keep this chat as a general chat for the tournament

I like this idea.
I agree the rules/details need some more clarity.

And for me I'll be MIA from Aug 29th to Sep 12th.
So not sure if that's gonna be a problem.

But I'd definitely like to give this a try if possible
