I see BD is still littered with ignorant morons who believe in the more = better idea.

It's been tried and tested on multiple occasions and anything above the number of 14 has made the entire game stale. Every. Single. World.

We should send those who suggested 16 to a nice place where they can be put out of their missery. And so we should send those who thought it'd be a bright idea to make it an option despite knowing fully it almost completely killed the game last time the standard was in the high numbers.

Is Tacticsoft truly so disconnected that they believe the game is now in a state where it can successfully support a competive 16 man world ?

It does not reduce subs to increase membercounts. It has the opposite effect - as proven in the past. People have more trouble creating full, good teams that don't fall apart except for a small few who dominate.

If this would have been a serious MMO by a serious company, people would be getting fired for repeating proven mistakes.

Hi Alex,

You are around since quite some time... and so, you should know that the options in this voting are not reflecting a personal opinion of me or other single persons here.
As community manager, I'll go with the options that the community requested to have.
Even more, I would never state my point of view to this topic nor vote at this topic. If I would do, the result may change.

Battledawn has always been close to the players needs and we like to ask about their opinions. If you don't like the 16 player option, you are free to say why you think its not good.

This is subjective and not even a reason.
We will go with the alliance size that our community will decide. If this is too liberal for you, sorry :)

Democracy does not work in game design. You'd think you would have picked that up by now. None of these people played when the game was nearly driven into the ground by numbers like that.

If you want to democratically drive the era into the ground that's your thing. But don't expect the support of myself - or any of the other veterans. I'd be incredibly surprised to see a single person around during the alliance size juggling who won't think this is (Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..). Consider it a challenge - find me one.

Remember 24 alliance limit on E1A1 of new client? Didn't we all realize even then that having so many players just made it so all of the decent to great BD players ended up on a few select teams and the rest of the world was just full of sub-par teams. If BD wants a real competitive/active world, they should aim for the smaller team limit of 10 or 12. I understand that subs are a problem with a low limit, but for those alliances that will be making subs, having the limit be 10 or 16 will not matter. Subs will still be formed and will be even larger/more of a nuisance the larger the alliance limit gets. No matter how bad of a player or alliance you may be, 16 players set up to sub/troll will still be a large hindrance for any main team. 10 players are easier to handle.

Ilona as admin and community manager, if anyone else's opinion on this topic matters its you. You have played in many teams and admined many worlds and watched different alliance sizes. You have a better basis to tell us what size you think will work compared to the BD players that have only maybe tried one or two of these alliance sizes out before.

Sorry for double post btw
